Then, our computerized system, closely guided and monitored by the chiropractor, performs a series of decompression and rest cycles during which traction is used to gently elongate and stretch the spine into a more natural, healthy position.

This decompression force removes pressure from the injured parts of the spine, releasing pinched nerves and enabling the body’s own healing powers to work more freely within the spine. As the pressure within the injured discs is removed, a sort of suction, or vacuum effect gradually pulls the injured disc back into its normal position. This suction actually allows improved circulation to carry more oxygen and nutrients freely into the area, which speeds up the healing and pain relief process and reduces inflammation.
